LovelyJenniferThis is the nicest tulip table for my needs, as it has enough room to seat 4 comfortably. I happened to get this when in the as-is section, and it was simply a retired floor model. This has held up better than many pieces of Ikea furniture that I have had, but to be fair it is a basic design with minimal pieces to break. The amount of scuffing on the base that my table has accumulated seems to be very reasonable, which is nice as I have the white model.

Wobbly and UnusableCarolWe just assembled the table, being very careful to follow all of the instructions, and the tabletop will not stay secure, even after all of the bolts are tightened securely. I even undid and reassembled it, fearing that I’d made a mistake, but the tabletop is still wobbly. Given that I’m not hauling it 100 miles to the nearest store, it looks like it’ll be headed to the curb, and we’re out the cost of the table and the hassle of dealing with this. Guess IKEA has started to cut corners… Very disappointing…
Wobbly TabletopIrvinaHaving 1 single support column in the center is a design flaw. The base is sturdy but overtime the tabletop wobbles and is not stable. Poor functionality. Get a table with 4 legs if you want longevity.
Nice TableEleanorMy son put the table together for me. Didn't seem to have any issues. I like the base of the table. Table is solid. The only issue I have is what product works well for cleaning it.

A great alternative to its famous cousin. FabriceWe were looking for an affordable alternative to the Eero Saarinen tulip table and the IKEA Docksta is a great find! Make sure to follow the assembly instructions very closely for a perfect fit. The table top material seems to be resistant for everyday use. If only it came in a 48” diameter!!!

- Pay close attention to steps 7 and 8, ensuring proper alignment of the plates.
- Using a wrench in step 8 is crucial to prevent the table from wobbling.
- We recommend having two people assist with assembly, and placing the table on a rug or carpet for stability.
After three attempts (we missed the wrench step initially!), our table is now sturdy and wobble-free. Despite the initial challenges, we highly recommend this product.

fairly difficult assembly but worth itGraceDesign/appearance wise I have zero complaints -- I'll be using it as a dining table in a corner to fit 2-3 people, but I can see up to 4 people being able to sit around it.
Now the assembly... I've assembled multiple IKEA furniture alone before, but you will struggle if you're trying to do this as a one-person operation. The parts are pretty heavy and Step 2 involves holding two heavy parts up at the same time. My advice to avoid a wobbly table is tightening the screws as much as possible after each step, and making sure the metal plate stays lined up with the plastic as intended in Steps 7-8.
