Riu Bambu This was my 4th time on this resort . Beautiful place and beautiful people. They treated us like family. Clean room , clean. Towels every day.Food was ok. Lots of variety and we always find something to eat Steak house is our favorite restaurant on the resort. Pools are great. Beach is my happy place. Thank you for everything Ariel &Joel ( Buffet) And thank you to the steak house staff especially a manager for threatening us like family. Definitely coming back next December. I can’t wait.

Not the Riu Standard I know and love Very mediocre... Emmanuel was very pleasant and helpful worth the visit. Food is bad , drinks unclean and nothing like the Riu standard in Jamaica. It's one thing to save money but it's another to use sub par products. First day after arriving , my pineapple juice had dark particles floating in it... Few days later my daughter's fruit punch was spoiled like it had gone bad just sitting on the line for days

Busy, loud, Spanish party hotel on fantastic beach location. Beautiful location on fab palm lined beach which is swept by hotel staff every morning to help keep clear of sargassa. Very loud busy party hotel with many groups of family/friends from South America, Canada & USA. People coming and going non stop. Food tasty but not hot. Main entertainment Spanish with mostly Salsa/Merengue dancing for couples. Daily activities extensive. Staff friendly. Mainly self service in restaurants and bars. Speciality restaurants usually just have choice of 3 main courses so ignore extensive menus displayed outside. RIU app works well.

Resort had it all, will be back! DON'T LISTEN TO THE BAD REVIEWS!! Upon arrival we walked in and the lobby was modern and clean, the entertainment was going on. Had an easy check in and showed which way to room. We got there late at night so no bell boy but it was fine. (They do have them during the day we saw). Rooms were basic but had a balcony and that was nice. The fridge was stocked with water and pop/soda and beer. They also had a bottle dispenser and ice was just down from the room was an ice machine. Beds and pillows comfy and asked for another blanket and it came that day. I really liked that the A la Cartes were no reservation yes there were lines but they went through fast. They also had fans and air-conditioning where the food buffets were. The food was good and there was plenty to choose from. The bars were plenty and had everything you could want. Their Mango Marg was soooo yummy! They had so much to do at this resort lots of activities, Zumba, yoga, beach volleyball, and some pool activities too. towards the back of the resort they had a pool designated for their foam parties which were so fun. They had a white party, jungle party, neon and pink party with smoke and foam and crazy good club party music was so fun. They are on the resort but as an option for people if they don't want to can still enjoy their day. They have a disco which we went to once but was too Smokey and when you party at these parties you don't need a disco. The beach is lovely just gorgeous, waves were pretty high on days but still warm. It wasn't to hard to get a lounger if you look. Towel service was good, even in the rooms they would change the towels everyday that you wanted your room clean. I would definitely come back or try the sister hotel to still enjoy those parties. The only thing that we didn't like was the nightly entertainment starts at 930/10 pm and some nights you wanted them to be done around them. This resort had it all!

NEVER EVER!!! Horrible, disappointing and frustrating. DO NOT COME TO THIS HOTEL EVER!!!! Disappointing and unpleasant for quite a bit of $$. Will never recommend this place to anyone. This is nowhere near a 5☆ resort. We are very frequent traveller's and have been around the world. Rooms: old, dated, broken furniture, cracked sinks, poorly functioning showers (no hot water), non-functional outlets. Phones don't work, so every time you need something, take a hike to the front desk, where you will be told off. Literally. No umbrellas either (I'm sorry, but even Cuban hotels have them). No warm blankets. We had to make quite an escalation to get them. Pools: dirty with balls of hair floating in the water and on the edge of the pool. Garbage not being cleaned up around the pools Towels: with the amount of pools and the area of the resourt, the towel stations are only located centrally. So you need to walk quite a bit to change them. Restaurant: A la carte are first come first serve. No reservations. So there are line ups for hours!!! The food is barely warm and somewhat edible. Not a 5☆ standard at all. Very poor drinks selections. Service: NONE!!! This word just describes it. Restaurants, pool, beach - no service. You are lucky to be seated. That's about it. Reception: this is a separate category. This is the highlight of the worst experience. Particularly Gicci and Yerome, who told us they couldn't care less that our children were freezing and couldn't sleep without blankets in a freezing cold room, because AC is also broken and just cooled the room like a fridge while being set to 23 C. We were told OFF!!! Very disappointing, frustrating and disgusting experience.
