R. Perez We have never had any problems when we have stayed at a Riu Resort, and we have stayed at several different ones. Always first class service from check in to when we check out!

Fab stay ❤️ Amazing holiday with my family! This hotel was loved by us all! The location is absolutely beautiful, the beach is stunning and the hotel is freshly renovated and very modern. The staff were the highlight of this hotel for us, every single one was friendly and went out of their way to look after you notably the bartenders at the pool bar, the sports bar, the housekeepers and the waiters in the main dining area. The food in main dining is an excellent standard compared to other all inclusives I’ve been to! Breakfast was by far my favourite but lunch/dinner also fab! Even though it gets a little repetitive after 2 weeks, there’s always a couple of different items every night including a carving station. There was enough sections you could eat something different every night anyway! Pepe’s snack bar is decent for poolside snacks, never changes though so going into the main hall for lunch was much nicer! The entertainment team were fabulous!! From dance classes, darts, volleyball, football etc there was literally never something not happening. The entertainment in the evenings was also pretty good, my sister and I loved the silent disco! The riu parties were so much fun too, they throw a couple of day ones and a couple of night events. The rooms were cleaned to an exceptional standard every day with fun towel animals and the room itself was lovely! So big and spacious and a lovely view from the balcony. Had two small double beds for myself and my sister and a shower with excellent water pressure. Air con worked like a dream which was very needed. The tours by the onsite operator Scuba Caribe were excellent! We did 4 and although pricey they were fab experiences. Some small negatives The shop in the hotel is extortionate!! My dad paid £8 for a bag of crisps. Walk 10 mins down the road to Oxxo much more reasonable. Twice in our 2 week stay the swim up bar pool was closed due to rowdy Americans throwing up in it. We didn’t spend too much in that pool so didn’t bother us but ewww!

Fantastic holiday Well again fantastic holiday at the Caribe this was our 8th visit. We are already planning our next visit in 2026 for my retirement. I wondered what refurbishment would be like it was fantastic. We arrived later than expected due to hurricane Beryl only by about 3 hours. We got our room straight away perfect showered then went for food to main restaurant. When we walked past Mexican restaurant we looked in great to see Hugo was still there he is fantastic such a lovely man we used to asked to have him as our server. We also liked service in main restaurant. Antonio is my favourite along with the twins Celia and Elda and evening staff Isreal was really nice. Tried the new restaurant Kulinariumwas not keen food was bearly warm and both my husband an myself felt unwell the next day. The staff at Frida bar were great especially Frankie and Lily. Went to sports bar most nights as it was nice and cool but I did prefer the old sports bar. The staff in there all day where fantastic. Vicente he is the best such a lovely man always been there and always remembers us, Fernando and Lupita were also great and so friendly and also Mya he too has always been there shame he was on the night shift didn't see much of him. The facilities have not changed to much still a great destination only problem we had was I put card on bed to have it changed and all they did was put blanket from wardrobe on as if you need a blanket, and sun loungers on beach could do with being cleaned. I can't wait till 2026 when we are back. Feel like staff are good friends.

Riu Caribe Cancun Don't understand the negative reviews about this hotel. The hotel is very well maintained and always clean , the only thing that let's it down is the disrespectful guests who think they don't have to pick up after themselves leaving half eaten plates of food on the beach or around the pool areas. The food is mostly ok . Always fresh fruit , cheeses breads meats etc I enjoyed breakfasts more than the evening meals . I don't understand the negative reviews about the food when all o see is Americans coming from home to eat hotdogs and burgers every day _ utter madness. The restaurants onside are somewhat better , the shangri-la, margherita are nice , the steak house was disappointing they don't seem to cook your steak they way you want it after asking you how you want it. Can't fault the staff. Whatever they are being paid it's not enough The beach is nice and clean . Water is clear then you hit the dark area which is just sea grass or whatever. Bring snorkle and goggles you can see lots of fish. Avoid the swim up bar . Everyone is in it all day drinking but never get out to go the toilet. A nice urine soup. Again this hotel is well worth the stay and staff are brilliant .
