Omron - Tri-Axis Pedometer + Aerobic Steps and Calories - Black

This pedometer was great for my purpose and very inexpensive. It was just what I was looking for.

it does what should. Not practical for clipping to clothes it is oblong and difficult.

The step count seems to be accurate. Sometimes it seems a little low to me, but I haven't checked it against another device. The set up was pretty easy. The main problem I had was figuring out how to wear it. There is a (very) small hole on one side to thread something through, but the only thing small enough to fit through the hole was a piece of string. I ended up just putting it in my pants pocket. When I wore it in a jacket pocket, the step count seemed low. When I change pants I sometimes forget to transfer it and one of these days it will probably end up in the wash! I just wish it came with a lanyard that would fit through the hole so it could be worn around the neck. However, the instructions make it clear that the company wants to distance themselves from any liability associated with wearing the device around the neck.

It measures steps about as well as most pedometers, better than some. It does not measure steps around the house unless you go over 10 at a time. It is nice that it fits in pockets, but I don't always have a pocket. The clip does not hold the pedometer on securely, so is useless. So, if I have no pockets, (leggings, for example), I cannot use it.

I usually used my iphone 7 as a pedometer to keep up with my steps. But it was bulky to have it on my body at all time. I tried another simple watch pedometer and it wasnt accurate. So I got this pedometer from Best Buy after reading some reviews. Tested it out and it was awesome. Very acurate. It is small and you can keep it with you at all time. I got a leather string and hang it around my neck inside my shirt. Like wearing a necklace. People I know bought the pricy fitbit and they love theirs. For me just for counting steps to keep myself active this little device works its magic. And especially for the price, quality and accuracy, I cannot be happier.

I just wanted to track steps. No need for a computer wrist device and to get a cell phone involved. This is well made, easy to set up and counts walking steps and on stairs. Customer service is amazing if you have a question. Thrilled with my choice of device.

This pedometer is perfect as a stand alone product if you don't want to use a smart phone app. I can get number of steps, distance, and an estimation of calories burned. The counter changes every 24 hours. The battery can be changed easily.

I did not want to get a cell phone involved in knowing how many steps I was taking. I cannot wear a fit bit or similar as I hate the look. This is an amazing little thing for a great price and it is very easy to use. It does work on steps/stairs I find. It is a motivator. I bought a cord from Omron online but sometimes I just put it in my pocket - or bra.
