    Hey guys,

    Straight out the box these puppies had my heart. Light, flexible and durable, they look great quality. Im a size 6 in other shoes so ordered the same here and they fit like they were made just for me, slightly wider toes which works for me (i hate that feeling of being squeezed in) as they feel more craddled than unfitting, i also have a high instep but the fabric has allowed for this and gave me no problem getting into them. I prefer to train barefoot at the gym when hitting compounds but will be keeping these trainers on through my sessions as they feel great. I havent tripped or stumbled yet!

    OFf to the gym now for my first session in them ill be doing cardio and strength training so will be putting them through their paces. I have no reason to believe they wont perform and providing they stay together over the next few weeks (i train 5 days a week so they take a beating) ill be ordering a few more pairs.

    At £28 a pair they really are a bargin

    Very pleased with this shoe, as I've been barefoot running for a while, and shoes do wear out and are expensive to replace. Nice wide toe box, good grip, easy lacing, easy breathing and good bright colour. (I do however wish manufacturers would get away from 'women's' colours and men's colours - I often hanker after the colour options the men's styles have!)

    I am new to barefoot trainers trying to get back to basics with some very dodgy knees. I find them very comfy generally to walk and occasionally run in. They are versatile being perfect for the gym floor and spinning class as well. I don't feel 100% secure (footing wise) in them, but I think that is just me needing to get used to the increased feedback and flexible sole. They would be 5 stars except I think they measure up a little small - I am normally a very comfortable UK 8 (sometimes a 7.5)with socks, but I find that my toes touch the end of these which can become a little irritating without socks. Have not put my feet back in my regular trainers since using them and I am experiencing a lot less exercise pain in my knees so I'm definitely converted to this style of footwear.

    I purchased these as a gift for my significant other. I had to return the first pair because this shoe runs small for her. Sizing up half a size fixed the issue.

    On her first outing with the new pair she developed a big pus filled blister at one of her Achilles tendons and the other tendon was left tender. Very disconcerting. This is most likely due to the material used at the heel collar. It feels tough that it just digs into her Achilles tendons. New balance should have done a better job here. A softer material at the tendon area/edge of collar would have solved the issue. She has decided to keep the shoes given the price and in hopes that this material either softens or breaks in or she develops callouses. So this is the reason for the low rating. Otherwise she seems to like the shoes.

    Just received these shoes in the mail. I ordered a size 9medium. I normally wear a size 9.5 in nike running shoes, but reading all the reviews I decided to order a bit small. They fit perfect without socks and also with very very thin no show socks. I probably could have even ordered an 8.5 in womens because the toe box is so large and roomy. The tongue of the shoe is sewn to the shoe which is a nice feature. The laces are a little bit long once they are tied tight, but that is an easy fix. Have not done any running in them yet, but have put in a few hours of walking in them without socks and they are comfortable (no blisters or sore feet yet). Would not recommend these to people who are on their feet all day, lacking support (which is the point). Hoping that after a week or so of wearing them around the house I can try them on a trail run!
