An Ortholite Footbed combines a specific ortholite foam and air cushioning to help improve comfort and compression underfoot while a Merrell Compression Moulded EVA provides further cushioning and stability. Merrell Air Cushion in the heel also absorbs shock and adds stability underfoot. A Vibram Outsole provides a highly durable and extremely sticky rubber for great traction and stability.

I feel Merrell's standards are slipping a little. This a hiking shoe but it's somewhat on the light side. Also the support is not as firm as previous Merrell products I have had.
These shoes are extremely comfortable and very durable albeit a bit expensive. You have the usual merrell quality you expect from the brand although I have noticed they like to squeak on tiled floors when your feet are wet apart from that they're great.
Elles sont légères et confortables. Les finitions sont irréprochables. La semelle est un peu rigide mais parait très solide. C'est un très bon produit dans l'ensemble. Seul petit bémol ces chaussures chaussent un peu petit, prévoir 1 à 2 tailles au dessus. (43.5 pour du 42)
Jolies chaussures, achetées à un prix intéressant chez un revendeur anglais (par rapport au prix non soldé). la finition m'a semblé très correcte. Pour moi, la taille est légèrement au-dessus de la normale en longueur: je chausse du 41 +, j'ai pris du 42, et je suis plutôt à l'aise, malgré les chaussettes de sport. Par contre, il va falloir quelques jours pour les assouplir car elles sont un peu raides d'origine, normal. Les semelles ont un bon grip, mais je ne les ai pas essayées sous la pluie. Sinon, elles seront vite très confortables, je pense, Enfin, l'amorti est bon (testé sur chemins caillouteux).
I love these shoes. I wear them a lot and they are fantastic. Good circulation, extremely comfortable, and so much traction...except in wet conditions. Unfortunately when walking on any kind of wet relatively flat surface these shoes can become a little treacherous, but as long as you're aware of it I don't think it is a huge deal. I've slipped a couple times pretty hard when testing the boundaries of this drawback, but aside from my bruised pride I was fine. LOVE THESE SHOESq
Compré estos para aprovechar el precio, ya que pocas veces los veo en oferta, en la imagen no me gustaban mucho pero el precio valía la pena. Fué una grata sorpresa, ya que se ven mucho mejor en persona... sólo me parece quedan un poco anchos del talón y el pantalón constantemente se atora allí.
