    I have a new job as a District Nurse, so I am walking around North London for most of the day. I read previous reviews which stated these were comfortable from the start. I was a bit sceptical.
    I got them, wore them adn they were PERFECT. Fitted perfectly, were very comfortable and today it was pouring down with rain and my feet were perfectly dry and warm. After a few weeks I can feel that they are getting a bit loose and the only problem being that it is quite difficult topull the laces tight. BUt winter is nearly here so I will be wearing thicker socks anyway so not really much of a problem.
    I am tempted to get another pair for when these wear out.
    Excellent price for excellent shoes.

    These walking shoes are the best I have ever bought, sturdily made, comfortable and an excellent fit. I can see these will last me for many years and at such a bargain price you can't go wrong. Even better, they arrived the following day even though I didn't request next day delivery. Some people have said the sizes are a little on the large side, but I am a size 7 and I found this a perfect fit, allowing of course for the wearing of a medium thickness sock. I would definitely recommend these shoes to anyone.

    I have been looking for a decent pair of walking shoes for a while now. I walk about 5 miles a day to work and back and needed a pair of shoes that could cushion the blow of walking on pavements and also support my feet. These shoes were comfortable from the moment i put them on. My feet dont ache like they did in trainers and most importantly they didnt rub and cause blisters like most shoes do on the first wear.

    If you have very slim feet, you may find they dont hold your foot in the shoe very well. But other than that, i would highly recommend them.

    Not had chance to try out the waterproofing as the weather took a turn for the better the day the arrived but like most breathable shoes, i expect they could let the water in after the waterproofing has worn off.

    i give these shoes 5 star rating as they deserve it with all design, materials, quality and comfort. the only thing is i regreating- i has to order size 6 even though i have 7. as they are really a very large 7. i could easily fit into 6 judging by them. Wide, soft, comfy lining. all is just perfect. to compensate the size i will be putting a thick 'fluffy' socks or thermal socks. other than that - as always with the british quality- it is second to NONE!!!!
