Customers appreciate the size of the hydration pack. It's big enough for the essentials and holds 2 liters of water. The pockets are useful, with the wallet, keys, phone, and other items fitting nicely in the top one. They say it's bigger than the classic version and has a couple of useful pockets for keys, phones, and other bits.

I have used this a few time now. Hardly notice it. The pockets are great, wallet and keys fit in the top one nicely, phone and other bits in the lower pockets. I would recommend this product to anyone.

My son in law was delighted with camelback, didn't think he needed 2ltrs but found it was perfect. The extra pocket was good for tools etc he said and was really pleased with his birthday present. I never know what to buy him but this was the best yet!

A very good help to running 10k's-half marathons and beyond. It holds 2l of water, which is seemingly plenty and also one can store keys, phones etc. Slightly lacking in broader useable space, but what you lack in pockets/storage, you make up for with a very lightweight, comfortable design.

Product is very good and is worth the extra over cheaper alternatives as they are not comparable. Only slight issue is that it will slide about a bit over a waterproof top (particalarly when full) but I'm sure a bit more time spent adjusting the straps will minimise this - Over a normal running top it is great. A big plus is that it is so much easier to dry the bladder than the one in my inov8 ruck sack.

Very nice product. I'm using it for years now. I'm a casual runner and it works ok with me. But isn't waterproof. So I had to use small bags for my phone and other accessories if there is a chance of raining.. Not good..

Bought this camelbak for some long distance rides I was planning. I was slightly worried about how comfortable it would be when wearing all day, but I found that I quickly forgot it was there. I wish now I had gone for a 3 litre one as it is so comfortable and due to its positioning the weight is no problem. I have never used a hydration pack before so cannot compare but I would recommend this one as a starter.

I didn't get the colour that I picked when I made my order! Otherwise the bag is working fine.

5.0 out of 5 stars Toll für kurze Touren

Alles super.

First off, I would like to address the issue other reviewers of the Camelbak Rouge Hydration Pack have concerning the lack of a quick link system for the removal of the drinking tube for cleaning the water bladder. If anyone where to investigate a little further by visiting a local retailer who sells Camelbak hydration systems and look at the label that is attached to the bite valve. You will see that this label would sate that this is equipped with the Antidote badder with the quick link system and if the label only states antidote. Then that particular antidote bladder is not equipped with the quick link system. I guess you could discover this same information by visiting Camelbak's website. Further more, I would like to say that I am a very pleased Camelbak customer. My first Camelbak was the HAWG NV pack which I purchased from Amazon two years ago. This particular hydro pack is a very good pack for 3 + hours of bicycling. It holds quite a bit of gear. However, I do go on much shorter rides which I found the Camelbak HAWG NV pack is a bit too much to wear on my back. Therefore, I recently purchased a Camelbak 70 oz Rouge hydro pack from Amazon. I like this pack because, it will hold about the same amount of three large water bottles and it rides high and snug above the jersey pockets. Also, I like the idea of the two pockets in which you can pack small necessities. Such as wallets, keys, snacks and so forth. The Rouge hydro pack is the perfect tool to take along on short bike rides where all you need are the bare essentials.
P.S. I truly enjoy my shopping experience with Amazon. I purchased many other items from them within the past year and I have no complaints. Amazon's customer service is excellent. I highly recommend purchasing from Amazon.

5.0 out of 5 stars Great for road biking
Reviewed in the United States on 11 April 2013
I needed something that allowed me to carry enough water for long road bike rides when no water was going to be available except what I carried. Took a chance on the Rogue and it is fabulous. I can fill it up with 70oz of water and can't really feel it on my back. The easy access to water is keeping me better hydrated so I feel great after long rides. I put sports drink in my 24 oz cage bottle/s and water in the Rogue. The pack straps are very light and the back is well ventilated. Very aerodynamic too. I can also load up my jersey pockets as well with no interference from the pack. There's enough room in the pack for personal items and several energy bars.

The new bladder with baffling on the inside and easy closing with less than a quarter turn is quite an improvement over older style Camelbak bladders. To dry you don't need anything but to empty the bladder out and hang the whole pack upside down, pull off the mouthpiece, and shake out the hose. Once it is hung upside down reach in the bladder and open it up so the baffles can hold it open to dry. No drying accessory needed-nice.

I have started carrying it on all my road rides.
