    Delivered quickly by Amazon as per usual and well packaged. The sandals were well constructed and fitted well with plenty of adjustments to ensure a snug fit and with no pinching. Walking in them was very comfortable and before long they felt like old friends. However the sandals came with a claim that they were treated with an anti odour coating and my first real test of this was a two weeks in Hong Kong. To be fair I cannot imagine any shoe capable of handling these conditions with quite a few miles walked each day in temperatures of 35c. They took it for the first week but slowly and surely the pounding I gave them resulted in an odour. Most other makes would not have lasted a couple of days and certainly they handled the pounding very well and felt as light and comfortable to wear right through the long hot days. I shall try washing them and see if they hold up and the build suggests they will so all in all very pleased with the purchase

They served me well when coaxing a rental moped through eight inches of mud on a washed-out road for many miles; provided the grip and support to trek through jungle and forge streams; and scrubbed up well enough so as not to look out of place in the best beach-front bars in Nha Trang and Da Nang.

    Very comfortable, very practical, and as acceptable aesthetically as I see sandals getting within my lifetime. They took a beating, gave me not one blister, cleaned up just fine and are waiting in my wardrobe for their next call to active service.

    This is my third pair of Merrell sandals and it's virtually all I wear. My original pair are now used as slippers in the house and this pair are for everything else. The last pair lasted a long time, although I was disappointed that the undersold cracked around the heel area, which is why I bought this pair. I have, however, rather strange feet due to an old accident. This new pair are smart and comfortable and do everything I would expect for Merrell sandals. I expect them to last a long time and I am sure they will. In general, I would recommend Merrell sandals and the reason I have not given them five stars is because of the collapse of the undersole near the heel. Otherwise, recommended/

    I'm still unaware of the difference between Kahuna III and Kahuna III Sport. But in all I'm very pleased I bought the Kahuna III Sport.

    They do exactly as there intended. The sandal seems high quality. Support and Comfort wise the sandal is second to none. Plus the high quality vibram sole makes it all more extra special, instead of the cheap rubber soles on most other sandals.

    I do believe that in regards to Style and Aesthetics, improvements could be made. Although the colour is termed 'Boulder', it's dark and very boring to me. A little colour would of been better but it's only a sandal for my feet. Don't get me wrong it certainly isn't ugly and it's the least of concerns. But a lighter 'boulder' at the least would make it more appealing.

    In all, it seems a high quality sandal that I'm pleased with.

    I tried another sandal on at an outdoor shop, a Teva one. The front toe strap hurt after a few seconds, so it would have been no use for walking barefoot in Greece ( the purpose for which they were purchased).

    I declined these and decided to stick with Merrell, which were the same make as my old pair. These were excellent throughout my holiday, when I wore them every day for a fortnight. Extremely comfortable, at home on a rocky beach, sandy beach or in a town.
