    I just received these shoes. I usually wear size 5, bought 5.5 UK, but they still half size smaller than they should be. Otherwise they feel like a very comfortable and very light. I have a bunion on both feet and these shoes don't seem to pressure on them. Will need to return for an exchange for a bigger size.

    I love these Teva's, and am so glad I bought them! I wore them for walking on the beach and wading in the surf, and they worked just as I hoped they would. The are lightweight with very good arch support, and even after two hours of walking on the sand, my feet and knees weren't tired or sore. They held their shape and support even when saturated. They dried relatively quickly, provided there was air curculation. I always propped them up against wall to dry, so the water could drain out quickly, which I think helped them dry. I placed them in front of a fan on one occasion and they dried in about an hour!
    The notation from other raters that the inside is itchy is somewhat true. I wouldn't call it itchy, but the stitching area over the arch is somewhat rough, though not enough that it impacted my wear, and if it hadn't been noted in other reviews, I probably wouldn't have noted it, myself.
    I ordered a 9.5, and they run true to size. The laces are sturdy and adjust easily. I had no problem with the back loop, as noted in other reviews. I pulled the shoes on using the loops, and they remain intact. I do recommend that wearer loosen the laces to put the shoes on, as it makes it much easier.
    I also wore these Teva's shopping one day. They were reasonably comfortable, but I will probably opt for regular athletic shoes next time. They perform better as beach and pool shoes than for shoe for hard surfaces.
    One other thing to note is performance with sand. Sand will get in these shoe, and it doesn't come out as easily as it gets in....but this is also a positve, because the fine mesh also keeps shell and shell pieces out! My husband has surf sandles and had a terrible time with getting shells stuck in his feet....but not me! My Teva's kept them out. I had to stop once to dump dry sand out of my shoes after walking in deep, soft sand. On occasions when I got more wet sand in my shoes than I liked, I'd just walk in heavier surf and let the ocean wash the sand out.
    I would definitely recommend these shoes for enjoying the beach. I would definitely buy them again!
