    I had wanted to renew my Scarpa walking shoes but the current range in't leather lined and seems less quality than before so I bought the Grisport at half the price. It's not a badly made shoe and looks more shoe than boot which is what I wanted so looks ok with casual jacket working or walking the countryside....it is not leather lined either but it is light weight, soft leather construction and can only hope comfortable on long city walks. As I have only had the shoes a few days I cannot comment further. . Sizing for 39 is slightly bigger than Scarpa 39 so it fits fine if your a 6.5 UK which is my real UK size . It's also the womans version although I am a man but it is the same shoe just smaller sizes available under woman category.

    I was very sceptical about buying walking shoes online because I take anything between sizes 36 and 38 in shoes depending on width and sock thickness. My husband recommended Grisport so I gave it a go. I ordered size 37 (4) and they fit perfectly. I’m using winter socks and there is plenty of toe wiggle room. I’m getting a bit of heel lift in the right shoe but not enough to be uncomfortable or cause rubbing.

    The soles are fantastic, no slip even on wet boardwalks. I haven’t tried them on a steep wet downhill slope yet but I’ve every confidence they will be fine.

    The best thing though is the weight….. light as a feather and sooooooooo comfortable. Pricey for a walking shoe but well worth it. Grisport Walking boots are next on the list.

    I bought these October 2023. By month two the leather started degrading, now the sides of the shoes are splitting. I do take care of them with proper wax etc.... for the cost of them I should be able to return them but could only return in November. I feel cheated out of a lot of money at a time when things are tight. Will never buy again. Shame on the manufacturer for selling shoes at such a price that are shocking quality! If I could give it no stars I would.

    I also bought these to replace my Brashers that I can't get anymore ~ read the reviews, 2 of which say they are waterproof ~ really pleased when I got them, good fit, no rubbing, very comfy ~ just as another reviewer has said ~ then saw on the label that they are lined with Spo-tex ~ "water and rainproof "~ "guaranteeing dry, warm, feet, even on the coldest and dampest of days" ............. excellent, this confirms the waterproof bit, I thought .............. well NOT ......... just had a 30 minute walk in wet grass, no rain, no puddles, just wet grass ~ and come back with cold, wet feet ~ certainly NOT WATERPROOF!

    Super Schuhe. Dicke, stabile Sohle aus Gummi, recht rutschfest, außer auf den VERALGTEN Steinen. Ich betone, nicht auf den veralgten Steinen -da ist kein Schuh rutschfest! Sonst,auf nassem Stein (Basallt, Granit, Sandstein - Felsen) habe ich FAST immer sehr guten Halt gehabt. Dicke Sohle, die die Unebenheiten des Bodens fast unspürbar macht. Ich war am Anfang nicht überzeugt, denn die Schuhe sehen nicht wirklich wie richtige Wanderschuhe aus, aber nach einem 4-wöchigen Urlaub in Schottland möchte ich keine Anderen haben :-).
    Ich trage normalerweise die Schuhgröße 39 -39,5. Diese habe ich in Größe 40 bestellt, sie passen super, wenn man dazu Wollsocken anzieht.

    Real leather shoe made the way only Italians can make them. A bit stiff the first few wears but then Oh so comfy. I polished mine with wax polish and buffed them up nicely when they arrived to help the shoe's water repellent. The tongue is attached to the shoe so I can step into water almost up to the top of the shoe with no problems. This is the best walking shoe I have had since my Buster Brown shoes of long ago.
