What was the inspiration to start or run this business?
Essan founded BAHR in 2011 with $20 and a used gear Craigslist purchase evoking a childhood skill of repairing hockey equipment since the age of 14. Started working from his car & grandmas' driveway, he grew the business within a few years to a worldwide brand within the hockey and sports community.

What do you love most about your job?
The ability to create a unique business model in a niche market no one else can emulate is a testament to building on a long term, sustainable and responsible local business that's accountable, honest and an integral part of the overall growth of the sport of hockey and other sports.

What is the best reaction you've ever gotten from a customer?
Whether it's tears or joy from Customers, restoring sentimental equipment or coming through on an emergency repair, earning your business when you walk through that door.... that connection of a job well done keeps us in business. We love what we do and we care about your gear as if it's our own.
