Chidobe Awuzie TEN CB
Ravens' Chidobe Awuzie: Signs with Baltimore
10h agoThe Ravens signed Awuzie to a one-year deal Tuesday.
Awuzie racked up 26 tackles (17 solo) and an interception in eight games for the Titans last season prior to being released earlier this month. He could provide some much-needed depth at cornerback for the Ravens, who are currently shorthanded at the position.

Steven Sims BAL WR
Seahawks' Steven Sims: Signs with Seattle
11h agoSims and the Seahawks agreed on a one-year contract Tuesday, Corbin K. Smith of SI.com reports.
Sims will head to Seattle after splitting the 2024 campaign between the Texans and the Ravens. The wide receiver combined to log nine total offensive snaps with Houston and Baltimore during the regular season, making the most of his damage as a return-specialist. He'll likely operate in a similar role with the Seahawks in 2025.

Stefon Diggs HOU WR
Patriots' Stefon Diggs: Headed to New England
11h agoDiggs (knee) and the Patriots agreed on a three-year, $69 million contract including $26 million guaranteed Tuesday, Adam Schefter of ESPN reports.
Diggs will head to New England after an injury-shorted campaign with the Texans in 2024. The wide receiver caught 47 of 64 targets for 496 yards and three touchdowns while also adding eight yards and a score on the ground over eight games with Houston before suffering a season-ending torn ACL in Week 8 against the Colts. Once he moves past the injury, Diggs will have a clear path to a heavy target load as Drake Maye's de facto WR1 with the Patriots in 2025.

Russell Wilson PIT QB
Giants' Russell Wilson: Joining Big Blue
12h agoThe Giants and Wilson agreed to a one-year contract Tuesday, Adam Schefter of ESPN reports.
The Giants have been in search of a new starting quarterback since moving on from Daniel Jones last season, and Wilson seemingly will be the choice for them, at least initially in 2025, even with fellow offseason signing Jameis Winston on the roster and the draft still to come. Wilson will receive $10.5 million guaranteed upon signing with the potential to make $21 million this season. In 11 regular-season appearances (all starts) in his only campaign with the Steelers in 2024, he completed 214 of 336 passes (63.7 percent) for 2,482 yards, 16 touchdowns and five interceptions, had 43 carries for 155 yards and two more TDs and fumbled five times (four lost).

Sua Opeta TB OG
Buccaneers' Sua Opeta: Re-signs with Tampa Bay
16h agoThe Buccaneers re-signed Opeta (knee) on Tuesday, Scott Smith of the team's official site reports.
Opeta spent the entire 2024 campaign on IR due to an ACL tear sustained early in training camp, but the 28-year-old should be cleared for the start of offseason activities. He'll offer valuable depth for the interior of an O-line that returns all five starters.
-
Ian Thomas LV TE
Raiders' Ian Thomas: Lands in Las Vegas
18h agoThe Raiders signed Thomas (calf) to a contract Tuesday.
Thomas spent the first seven seasons of his NFL career in Carolina, and he now bolsters a Raiders tight end corps led by 2024 rookie phenom Brock Bowers and trade candidate Michael Mayer. Thomas is capable of contributing in a depth role as both a blocker and pass catcher, so his presence could make it easier for the team to move on from Mayer. He appeared in five games (two starts) with the Panthers in 2024 before landing on IR with a calf injury, but Thomas figures to be ready to go for the start of offseason activities.

Tyler Mahle TEX SP
Rangers' Tyler Mahle: Now lined up for third game
2h agoManager Bruce Bochy said Tuesday that Mahle will likely start the Rangers' third game of the season Saturday against the Red Sox, Kennedi Landry of MLB.com reports.
The skipper had previously indicated Mahle would start the second game of the regular season. However, Bochy has since changed his tune and it now sounds like Jack Leiter will start Friday ahead of Mahle and Jacob deGrom in Games 3 and 4, respectively. Mahle required an MRI on his forearm earlier this spring, but he was able to turn the page in a hurry and convince the team of his readiness for the start of the 2025 campaign.

Austin Hays CIN LF
Reds' Austin Hays: Dealing with calf injury
2h agoHays was not in the lineup for Tuesday's exhibition game against Reds minor leaguers and the radio broadcast indicated that Hays is dealing with a calf injury, Dave Clark of the Cincinnati Enquirer reports.
Hays played in the Cactus League finale Sunday, but his status for Opening Day is now in question. The broadcast suggested the club will know more Wednesday. If healthy enough to play, Hays will likely serve as the Reds' cleanup hitter Thursday against the Giants.

Ryan Bliss SEA SS
Mariners' Ryan Bliss: Wins second-base job to open season
2h agoBliss has won Seattle's second-base job, Adam Jude of The Seattle Times reports.
Dylan Moore (illness) and Leo Rivas, the latter of whom was optioned to Triple-A Tacoma on Sunday, were also competing for the gig this spring, but Bliss put together the most impressive camp. The 25-year-old will be part of the Opening Day roster for the first time in his career after hitting .308 with two RBI, two stolen bases and a .787 OPS in 40 Cactus League plate appearances. Although Bliss has earned a starting position to open the season, his fantasy upside will likely remain limited while hitting in the lower part of the lineup and also playing at pitcher-friendly T-Mobile Park for home games.

Nick Lodolo CIN SP
Reds' Nick Lodolo: Strong spring training finish
5h agoLodolo allowed just one run his final spring training out against the Guardians over six innings, striking out seven in the course of retiring the final 11 batters he faced, Gordon Wittenmyer of The Cincinnati Enquirer reports.
Lodolo was the only Reds starter to go six innings in Arizona this spring and will open the season as their No. 2 starter, getting his first start Saturday at home against the Giants.
-
Matt McLain CIN SS
Reds' Matt McLain: Wraps up healthy spring
5h agoMcLain went 1-for-2 with a walk and a three-run home run in Tuesday's exhibition game against Reds minor leaguers.
McLain didn't put up big numbers in the Cactus League this spring (.255/.281/.418) and he acknowledged to Charlie Goldsmith of Cincinnati Magazine that he's had to shake off some rust. What matters most is that McLain is healthy, as he described himself as being in a "good spot" heading into the 2025 season after missing all of 2024 due to injury. The 25-year-old is tentatively expected to bat second in the order for the Reds against Logan Webb and the Giants on Thursday.
-
TJ Friedl CIN CF
Reds' TJ Friedl: Penciled into leadoff spot
5h agoFriedl is projected to serve as the Reds' Opening Day center fielder and leadoff hitter Thursday against the Giants, Charlie Goldsmith of Cincinnati Magazine reports.
Friedl looks poised to return to the role of primary table-setter in Cincinnati -- a spot he filled regularly under former manager David Bell. Injuries limited Friedl to just 85 games last season and likely sapped his effectiveness at the plate, as his OPS plummeted from .819 in 2023 to just .690 in 2024. The 29-year-old only managed two extra-base hits (both doubles) and didn't steal a base this spring, but he at least got on base at a .352 clip across 54 Cactus League plate appearances.

Jaren Jackson Jr. MEM PF
Grizzlies' Jaren Jackson: Doesn't return against Utah
7h agoJackson (face) finished Tuesday's 140-103 win over the Jazz with 19 points (8-12 FG, 2-3 3Pt, 1-2 FT), three rebounds, one assist, two blocks and one steal in 23 minutes.
Jackson left Tuesday's blowout win with 7:39 remaining in the third quarter after taking an elbow to the face and didn't return. However, with the Grizzlies up 105-82 entering the fourth quarter, there was little need for the star big man to check back in. Jackson's status for Thursday's matchup with the Thunder is unclear.
-
Dyson Daniels ATL SG
Hawks' Dyson Daniels: Stuffs stat sheet in loss
7h agoDaniels finished with 19 points (7-14 FG, 3-6 3Pt, 2-2 FT), 10 assists, eight rebounds and four steals across 36 minutes during Tuesday's 121-114 loss to Houston.
Daniels recorded his eighth double-double on the season while tying his season- and career-high mark in assists. Additionally, Daniels sank three three-pointers for just the fourth time on the season, and he has now made multiple triples in 21 of his 67 regular-season appearances. The defensive-minded guard also led the Hawks with a game-high mark in steals, and he has recorded multiple swipes in nine consecutive contests.
-
Paolo Banchero ORL PF
Magic's Paolo Banchero: Leads team to victory
7h agoBanchero contributed 32 points (13-24 FG, 2-8 3Pt, 4-6 FT), seven rebounds, six assists and one steal in 36 minutes during Tuesday's 111-104 win over Charlotte.
Despite struggling with his outside shot, Banchero led Orlando in scoring while also posting a team-high six assists. In the star forward's previous 10 outings, he was averaging 30.7 points, 8.1 rebounds, 4.1 assists and 1.3 steals in 37.0 minutes while shooting 49.5 percent from the field and 41.5 percent from three.
-
Stephon Castle SA PG
Spurs' Stephon Castle: Pours in 19 points in defeat
7h agoCastle recorded 19 points (7-15 FG, 1-4 3Pt, 4-6 FT), four assists, two rebounds and one steal in 30 minutes during Tuesday's 122-96 loss to Detroit.
Castle continued his solid play in the starting five on Tuesday, racking up at least 15 points for a seventh consecutive contest (all starts). However, the 20-year-old struggled from beyond the arc in the blowout loss, and he has shot only 20.0 percent from downtown in his last three games. The rookie first-round pick has received an increased role due to De'Aaron Fox (finger) being sidelined, and Castle should continue to serve as one of the club's top options on the offensive end.
-
Keldon Johnson SA SF
Spurs' Keldon Johnson: Inefficient outing in defeat
7h agoJohnson registered 10 points (3-9 FG, 0-2 3Pt, 4-4 FT), five rebounds and three assists across 22 minutes during Tuesday's 122-96 loss to Detroit.
Johnson racked up double-digit points for just the second time over his last four appearances. The 25-year-old forward has shot only 34.2 percent from the field in that four-game span. Johnson's inconsistency off the bench has limited him from a fantasy standpoint, though he has still logged at least 15 points and five rebounds in six of his 14 appearances this month.
-
Sandro Mamukelashvili SA PF
Spurs' Sandro Mamukelashvili: Paces second unit in defeat
7h agoMamukelashvili posted 11 points (4-7 FG, 3-4 3Pt, 0-2 FT), two rebounds and one assist across 17 minutes during Tuesday's 122-96 loss to the Pistons.
Mamukelashvili led the second unit in scoring Tuesday, marking his sixth outing with double-digit points over his last seven. The 25-year-old center also hit multiple triples for the 13th time on the season during an extremely efficient performance from beyond the arc. Mamukelashvili will likely continue to split minutes with Jeremy Sochan and Bismack Biyombo at center due to Victor Wembanyama (blood clot) being sidelined. Mamukelashvili has logged at least 12 minutes in each of his last seven appearances, and before the All-Star break, he had averaged only 8.1 minutes per contest across 33 games.
-
Bryan Rust PIT RW
Penguins' Bryan Rust: Scores again in loss
4h agoRust scored a goal and went minus-2 in Tuesday's 6-1 loss to the Lightning.
Rust has five goals and three assists over his last six outings. His goal spoiled Andrei Vasilevskiy's shutout bid with 5:45 left in the third period. Rust continues his march toward a career year -- he's now at 26 goals, 55 points, 157 shots on net, 57 hits, 52 blocked shots and a minus-23 rating over 62 appearances. He's two goals shy of matching his high mark from last year, and he's three points back of his career-best year in 2021-22.
-
Janis Moser TB D
Lightning's J.J. Moser: Draws helper in big win
4h agoMoser recorded an assist in Tuesday's 6-1 win over the Penguins.
Moser helped out on an Anthony Cirelli goal in the first period, the third of four tallies in a span of 3:47 by the Lightning. The 25-year-old Moser has just two helpers over 16 contests since he returned from a lower-body injury in February. His first season with the Lightning has seen him handle more defensive duties than he had with the Coyotes over the previous three campaigns. The Swiss blueliner is at 12 points, 43 shots on net, 56 blocked shots, 31 hits and a plus-15 rating across 43 appearances.
-
Rodrigo Abols PHI C
Flyers' Rodrigo Abols: Hands out helper
4h agoAbols logged an assist and two hits in Tuesday's 7-2 loss to the Maple Leafs.
Abols snapped a six-game point drought when he helped out on a Ryan Poehling tally in the first period. The 29-year-old Abols has emerged as a bottom-six regular for the Flyers following the trade deadline, but he hasn't been particularly productive on offense. For the season, he has four points, 21 shots on net, 22 hits, 10 blocked shots and a minus-9 rating over 19 NHL appearances.
-
Jakob Pelletier PHI LW
Flyers' Jakob Pelletier: Nabs helper in loss
4h agoPelletier produced an assist in Tuesday's 7-2 loss to the Maple Leafs.
Pelletier has been able to stay in the lineup since his Flyers debut Feb. 22, but he's struggled to make an impact while playing in a bottom-six role. He was pinned down on the fourth line for most of March before moving up to the third line recently. He's contributed 14 points, 42 shots on net, 40 hits and a plus-7 rating across 40 appearances between the Flyers and the Flames this season. At 24 years old and without a guaranteed NHL role, Pelletier's shine in dynasty formats is almost gone, and he's not a factor in redraft formats.
-
Calle Jarnkrok TOR C
Maple Leafs' Calle Jarnkrok: Chips in assist Tuesday
4h agoJarnkrok logged an assist and two PIM in Tuesday's 7-2 win over the Flyers.
Jarnkrok set up a David Kampf goal in the second period as the Maple Leafs' bottom-six mopped up some minutes in a blowout win. Jarnkrok had been scratched for the previous two games, but he took the place of Pontus Holmberg on the fourth line. The depth players in Toronto are not guaranteed a spot in the lineup -- there's been a handful of players to see time in the press box. Jarnkrok has four points, four shots on net, six hits, five blocked shots and four PIM across eight appearances this season since he overcame a long-term absence due to a groin injury and sports hernia surgery.
-
David Kampf TOR C
Maple Leafs' David Kampf: Contributes goal in win
4h agoKampf scored a goal on two shots and added four hits in Tuesday's 7-2 win over the Flyers.
Kampf was scratched for three games between March 15 and 19, but he's returned to the lineup over the last three contests. The 30-year-old forward snapped an 11-game goal drought with his tally Tuesday. He remains in a fourth-line role, so his offense is going to be limited most of the time. He's at five goals, 11 points, 45 shots on net, 47 hits, 26 blocked shots and a minus-3 rating over 55 appearances.
