AH, GUINEYS.

One of Ireland’s most beloved old shops – where you can find damn near anything if you rummage around long enough.

It’s woven into the fabric of Irish life:

So it was only appropriate that the big giveaway on the Late Late last night was a €100 voucher for Guineys

Straight away, it reminded people at home of their mams

It beat out last week’s special Valentine’s giveaway anyway

Imagine how far €100 would travel in Guineys

The audience looked pretty happy with the swag – but one man in particular knew its true value
