At RT Group Australia, we see the source of our timber equally as important as its quality we provide. The main aim was to establish and maintain a good source of quality timber, direct from the mills of our parent company, Roundtree Timber Sdn Bhd in Malaysia.
As such, we are extremely proud to announce that in October 2010, Roundtree Timber Sdn Bhd is now certified with the Certification for Chain-of-Custody by the governing body of Malaysia, SIRIM QAS International Pty Ltd, in line with PEFC’s Annex 4 of the PEFC Council Technical Document: Chain-of-Custody of Forest Based Products.
The scope of certified products covers the manufacture, sale and export of sawn timber, garden stakes, decking, finger-jointed timber, laminated beams, lattice products and plywood.
