Robin Wright Penn

Born in 1966 in Texas, Robin Wright Penn was raised in San Diego, Calif. Rising to fame on the soap opera Santa Barbara, Penn became a big Hollywood name after her roles in 1987’s The Princess Bride and 1994’s Forrest Gump.

The actress – who is also the national campaign spokesperson for the Myasthenia Gravis Foundation of America – married actor Sean Penn in 1996, but split after 20 years of marriage. They have two children together.
