Matthew McConaughey

Matthew McConaughey is an American actor. He first rose to fame for his performance as David Wooderson in the 1993 film Dazed and Confused. McConaughey is known for his roles in romantic comedies including, The Wedding Planner (2001), How to Lose a Guy in 10 Days (2003), Fool's Gold (2008) and Ghosts of Girlfriends Past (2009). He began to pursue more dramatic roles in the 2010s, starring in critically acclaimed productions like The Lincoln Lawyer (2011), Mud (2012), Dallas Buyers Club (2013) and True Detective (2014). In 2013, he won an Academy Award for Best Actor in a Leading Role for his performance in Dallas Buyers Club. McConaughey married model Camila Alves in 2012 and the pair have three children.
