For those weary of nagging friends and family to email or upload photos taken at last week's bowling night, Bump just unveiled an iOS app made for you.
Bump's Flock app merges photos from multiple phones into one shared album.
Once everyone has installed the app on their iPhone and signed up via Facebook, Flock scans your Camera Roll for matching time, date, and location, as well as Facebook friends, then sends push notifications to share the album it creates.
"Flock is not just a brand new app," Bump said on its blog. "We see it as a brand new *kind* of app."
The application was designed so users don't have to think about sending photos; Flock does all of the heavy lifting, leaving you with more time to snap pictures on whatever iPhone-compatible camera app you prefer. Forget having to email, text, or even remember which photos were taken last night at the bar. Flock's got your back.
Using location technology and algorithms to identify the appropriate Facebook friends, Flock also collects past photos just sitting in your phone's gallery.
The simplicity keeps with parent company Bump's model, which provides iOS and Android users the ability to tap two phones together to share contact information and photos – its only two functions since .
