The Ocean County Board of Elections works in conjunction with the Office of the Ocean County Clerk under strict compliance of the election laws set forth by the State of New Jersey.

While each election office is responsible for carrying out their own specific duties mandated under state law, both offices are committed to providing services to all eligible voters in Ocean County with efficiency and fairness while upholding the integrity of the election process.

Annual Fire Election

Saturday, February 15, 2025

  • Drop boxes will be closed at 9:00PM with the exception of the drop boxes located at the Jackson Library, Toms River Library, Ocean County Clerk and the Election Board Garage, which will be open until 10pm only to accept Jackson Fire District ballots.

    Fire Election ballots from fire districts other than from Jackson Fire Districts that are placed in the drop box after 9pm will not be accepted.
