An aggressive top-order batsman, Ross Taylor made his international debut for New Zealand in one-day internationals against West Indies in 2006. A clean striker and useful off-break bowler, Taylor scored his maiden ODI ton in his third match against Sri Lanka in Napier. Taylor made his Test debut against South Africa during New Zealand's 2007-08 tour to the Proteas. But he made his mark in the tour to England in 2008, where he scored two centuries and three fifties in six-Test series on English soil. The exploits include his career best 154 not out at Manchester. Taylor plays for 2008 Indian Premier League champions Rajasthan Royals, but had an ordinary outing as he failed to score fifty in ten matches. He best being 47 not out against Pune Warriors.
