When Jeff and Jennifer Salvage chose to get married, they wanted to be sure their wedding photos would be unforgettable. Little did they know that those photos would inspire a series titled "One Dress, One Woman, One World," in which Jennifer wears her white Maggie Sottero gown in more than 100 locations around the world.
Jeff Salvage told Mashable that he and his wife traveled to remotely-inhabited Easter Island for their ceremony to ensure truly iconic wedding photos. The following day, they traveled across the island together, taking photos of Jennifer in her gown from sunrise to sunset.
Following their Easter Island ceremony, the Salvages flew to China -- Jeff was shooting the 2008 Beijing Olympics at the time -- and continued snapping photos of Jennifer in her dress, drawing attention from passerby. Encouraged by positive responses from people who'd learned what they were doing, the couple embarked on a journey around the world, documenting Jennifer's adventures in that same gown.
Six continents and one slightly tattered dress later, the Savages have released a book of their travels, and Jennifer is working on a memoir about their romantic adventure. In addition, they are still traveling the world, constantly adding new photos to their exciting series.
