Hyundai falls behind M&M, Tata Motors in Feb retail sales: FADA
Hyundai Motor India slipped to fourth place in the Indian passenger vehicle market in February, with retail sales dropping by 20 percent year-on-year. Maruti Suzuki India led the market, followed by Mahindra & Mahindra and Tata Motors. In the two-wheeler segment, Hero MotoCorp retained the top spot.

HMSI domestic sales dip to 7 pc in Feb
Honda Motorcycle and Scooter India announced on Monday a 7% year-on-year drop in domestic sales for February, with 3,83,918 units sold. This compares to 4,13,967 units dispatched to dealers in February 2024.

Honda Motorcycle & Scooter India sales up 32% at 58.01 lakh units in 2024
HMSI reported a 32 per cent increase in total wholesales to 58,01,498 units for the year 2024 compared to the previous year. The total included 52,92,976 domestic sales and 5,08,522 units of exports. Last month's sales figures were 3,08,083 units, with domestic sales at 2,70,919 units and 37,164 units exported.

The production of Shine 100 will commence next month while its deliveries will begin in May, the company said. Shine is the highest-selling motorcycle in the HMSI portfolio. "Internal target (for Shine 100) is 3-lakh units," Ogata said and added that the target for the next three years is to attain 6-lakh units.
