It can shoot 4K at 50/60 frames per second, and the image quality in this video mode is perfect on a bright day (but degrades a lot indoors and in the night - the noise becomes annoying once the ISO setting goes beyond 800). The electronic stabilization is great under a bright light. In dim light the electronic stabilization results into artifacts that ruin the image (so you should either use a gymbal, or mount it to a heavy stable object, or freeze when shooting your video). 2.7K seems to be a fake mode added for marketing purposes only - the quality looks the same as when upsampling the image shot in 1080. But the 4K video quality blows all competitor cameras away.

Audio Adapter does not work!! Returned audio adapter since the camera is a week old and never used. Received 2nd adapter and same issue so cant be the adapter must be the camera. Now as summer comes to a close I am waiting for GoPro to receive my return and send me another camera since I was 5 days past the refund date and couldnt just go to BestBuy and buy another one....
Started doing research and yep the audio adapter issues are happening to a lot of users. For this much money this should not be happening and the camera should not be getting this hot. I live in TX dont want to hear the heat shut the camera down...

Très bon produit mais s’il y avait des supports livrés avec ça serait le top...
Principalement pour mes randonnées VTT j’ai réussi de belles vidéos. Je suis très satisfait de ma GoPro. Mais il y a le problème qu’elle est livrée sans aucun support et que pour en trouver des solides ça reste assez compliqué. Pros:
1. Image Stabilization is par excellence.
2. Image quality is comparable to flagship devices of any major smartphone brands. Can function as your secondary camera.
3. User interface is very easy to learn and use.
4. Sturdy. Built to last.
Cons:
1. Battery life should have been better. A single charge will last you about an 1-1.5 hours.
2. Touch screen response is a little off.
3. GoPro accesories are very expensive.
But overall, I must say this is an excellent buy. Will give 5 Stars.

Fin dalle prime versioni ho sempre avuto camere differenti rispetto alla ACTION CAM tipo Nikon AW110 (che tutt'ora spacca di brutto) e, con l'avanzare della concorrenza (vedi DJI o Insta) GoPro a mio avviso restava sempre un passo indietro e perdeva terreno.
Persino i contenuti degli ambassador o dei loro content creators non mi entusiasmavano... Fin quando, per puro caso, non mi sono deciso ad acquistarla alla ottava edizione HERO.
Premessa : nei miei viaggi porto sempre Mirrorless, AW110 per tutte le condizioni e smartphone (con eventuale DJI Osmo Mobile) ma in quest'ultimo ho deciso di puntare su GoPro e, complice un buono che avevo su Amazon, ho deciso di acquistarla e, senza mai averla provata, portarla con me in Argentina...
Vi premetto subito che la sintesi è GOPRO È AVANTI. Ma proprio ciò che li ha condotti avanti è anche il loro tallone d'achille : il software.
Riscalda si, lo avevo letto da qualche parte e lo sappiamo tutti... Ma nulla di fastidioso o insopportabile al tatto come alcuni vogliono far credere. Il vero problema per me è stata l'affidabilità. Non dimentico quante volte in preda all'occasione la camera non si è accesa (ironia della sorte per una ACTION CAM)!
Sotto le cascate di Iguazú ho dovuto rimuovere la batteria rischiano infiltrazioni non so quante volte per riaccenderla!
Ci sono cose che impari sulla pelle, sapevo che fosse tutto disattivato (comandi vocali in primis) ma se non disattivate il bluetooth del telefono a volte dopo spenta si accende anche da sola (vi invito a cercare in internet questo issue). Tutt'ora non capisco perché si comportò in quel modo rischiando di mancare uno scatto e comprometterne l'impermiabilità ma lato software è validissimo e sensibilissimo allo stesso modo.
Al di la di questo non voglio scrivere un poema ma la differenza di GoPro sta nei video in assoluto : è incredibile la qualità che esprime e la stabilizzazione che mantiene in tutte le circostanze.
Pur essendo un obiettivo visto e rivisto, la qualità delle foto è paurosa! Tutto merito del software presumo che denoisa a palla equilibrando l'istogramma nei limiti del proprio e caratteristico ProTune! Fantastico anche il software anche se non totalmente al pari di Insta.
Ma GoPro si manifesta sopratutto nell'azienda : prima foto mai da me pubblicata su GoPro Awards e primo premio ricevuto. Sono già 3 gli Awards che ricevo in 4 mesi di cui 2 di inutilizzo (per quarantena) ed in questo GoPro è davvero ammirevole e partecipe!
Ho anche sottoscritto l'abbonamento a Plus ed iniziato la carrellata di accessori che bisogna avere ed ora, a distanza di 8 versioni, mi spiego davvero il perché!
A parte qualche accorgimento prettamente software è davvero unica. Diffidate dalle imitazioni o da concorrenti apparentemente agguerriti (stile DJI ), la qualità ed il BRAND fanno sempre la differenza.

Ovviamente questa considerazione vale solo per la HERO. La GoPro Max ad esempio non è ai livelli di altre concorrenti stile One X, One R o Qoocam 8K ma spero si evolvano in fretta sul versante 360
