    Product Description

The X209-WRA-OR 9-inch Restyle system is Alpine engineered for the 2011-2018 Jeep Wrangler JK. It’s an AM/FM/CD/DVD receiver with embedded navigation and Bluetooth on a 9-inch WVGA capacitive touch screen with a Wrangler-fitted dash bezel. Driving with the Wrangler’s top or doors off? The X209-WRA-OR has a weather resistant touch screen and bezel rated at IP53 for protection against dust with limited ingress and fresh water spray up to 60° vertical. Activate the Off-Road Mode when taking your Wrangler off the beaten path. The off-road centric user interface displays vehicle data (tilt angle, tire pressure, battery voltage, GPS coordinates), tracking of trail distance/time, and compass readings. The navigation database includes Points of Interest (POIs) for vehicular recreational areas, FunTreks trailheads, and U.S. campsites. If the X209-WRA-OR is used with the HCE-2100RD Rear Camera or HCE-C2600FD Front Camera (both sold separately), the Off-Road Mode camera interface delivers three viewing modes (Ground, Tire, Panorama) to help view uneven terrain during rock crawls or trailing. The X209-WRA-OR is compatible with Apple CarPlay and Android Auto, and both can be accessed through the touch screen or “Microphone” button. Apple CarPlay is compatible with iPhone 5 and later (iPhone must be connected via Apple lightning cable). Android Auto requires both a USB cable and Bluetooth connection, an Android phone running 5.0 (Lollipop) or higher, and the Android Auto app. Use Apple CarPlay and Android Auto maps for urban adventures, or use the embedded navigation guidance if you lose cellular service off-road. The X209-WRA-OR retains select factory controls like the voice activated media player and steering wheel controls, and displays information like tire pressure. The X209-WRA-OR is authorized to be Sold By and Shipped From . For professional installation, visit the store locator on the Alpine USA website to find an authorized Alpine retailer near you.

This thing is awesome. Blows the crappy 430n unit out of the water. CarPlay works great. GPS and all other features work flawlessly. Very happy with this. Install was surprisingly in depth and took some time. Cutting the dash wasn’t bad but trying to neatly stuff the rats nest of wiring into the dash is definitely a two person job. If you have heated seats you will have to relocate the heated seat module as the alpine brackets don’t have anywhere to mount it to.

Dig the unit, install was pretty easy because I was already familiar with the Jeep JK's wiring and idatalink Maestro. Otherwise, instructions are terrible and Alpines website is junk when searching for help and updates. My head unit shows a normal sedan on the vehicle info screen instead of the Jeep JK they show in all of their pictures, have not found a way to update this yet but is a minor complaint. Looks rad.

4.0 out of 5 stars nice but way overpriced and Alpines update process is a joke
